Text besides icons in toolbar #826

image I feel like this saves some vertical space n also fills some of the unused horizontal space

Personal preference is for the current layout. The one thing to keep in mind with this is how long labels can sometimes get with different translations.

Just feel like the overall height of the window header area is quite large. Title bar+menu bar+toolbar with text below icons, n then u have a lot of blank space at the end of the toolbar, doesn't look quite right. Text besides icons helps saving some of that space that could be used for the package list instead. Synaptic stuffers from a similar issue where u have to maximize the window to make it more usable, but there u have the option to choose toolbar layout
