When trying to install an applet I get the following error message: Could not download zip for <applet name>: Missing dependencies for SOCKS support.

To reproduce Setup a system SOCKS proxy using Tor: i.e. sudo apt install tor and then set network SOCKS proxy to host 127.0.0.1 and port 9050:
sudo apt install tor
Launch mintupdate from Terminal Add an applet (I am trying batterymonitor@pdcurtis) and try and install it from the GUI See above error in Terminal
Expected behavior Applet zip should download and applet be installed with no Terminal error
