Edge resistance window no longer available #657

 * muffin version: 5.6.2
 * Distribution - Manjaro Cinnamon

In the newer versions of Cinnamon I couldn't get smooth dragging windows because they were always tiling to other windows and screen edges. I have checked previous ISOs with older Cinnamon versions and it appears that the option that I was looking for is "Edge resistance with other windows and screen and monitor boundaries" and in dconf editor "edge-resistance-window" respectively.

Same here, I think it should be configurable.

Any news or fix for this?

Same boat. Seems like gsettings set org.cinnamon.muffin edge-resistance-window false may also have worked earlier, but no longer.

I came here because of the opposite problem: I would like to increase the amount of window resistance, as I'm currently getting none. Still, +1 for configurable monitor edge resistance!

I actually would like this to be revisited. I have never cared or used edge resistance. If this used to be an option to toggle on or off, what was the reason to making it permanently on without a toggle? Can we get this toggle back? Or have the dconf entry?
