Should have added that Ugee 2150 is same resolution as main monitor.

nemo-desktop doesn't seem to handle very well (with auto-arrange off) when displays with icons on them are disconnected or have their resolution changed.
Issue Kept rubbish bin as only original icon showing on desktop; that goes underneath another/moves across or up on reboots or running games/software. All other added icons have very bad response when run wine/32-bit game ... 40 icons that I had set as larger and self-placed, were all across the desktop in large grid formation and also randomly, plus rainlendar resized/elsewhere. After switching to mdm/freely resize icons, things are a smidge better, but still, on reboot/running non-games, icons are nudging across, or bin is an inch to the left or a few inches above. Running games brings differing levels of things being changed, right up to the large grid formation ... sometimes all three columns of icons bunch up into one layered column. Somebody posted on Mint thread about running 'nemo config'. I have the same error as them, on running that: Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged. Nemo-Share-Message: Called "net usershare info" but it failed: 'net usershare' returned error 255: mkdir failed on directory /var/run/samba/msg.lock: Permission denied net usershare: cannot open usershare directory /var/lib/samba/usershares. Error No such file or directory Please ask your system administrator to enable user sharing.
Steps to reproduce Run 32-bit game, which runs fully on 2nd (graphics) Ugee monitor, with a zoomed portion of the game showing on main screen. That was when the icons I'd added to desktop (around 40, both software and images) all go across desktop in large grid formation. Improved a little through tweaks I've mentioned, but still having to rearrange some icons that have nudged, and move bin icon back in place, per reboot. Any game run, especially 32-bit/across to other monitor, causes some big problems.
Expected behaviour As above.
Other information Fully clean first install of 18.3.
