Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.9 driver: modesetting unloaded: fbdev,vesa resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz

First, when i drop the thumbnail on the desktop, the filename is misaligned, but as soon as i move it, it re-aligns properly... NOTE: Maybe this problem only occurs with wide, landscape thumbnails.
It isn't misaligned:-
The Desktop has a grid of positions to snap-to. The window also has a grid of positions to snap-to. These are not the same, unless you carefully adjust your icon sizes, window sizes, screen resolution etc
@Jeremy7701
THIS is what i am talking about:
I say the icon is not properly aligned with the filename. Or vice-versa. But as soon as you move it elsewhere on the desktop, it gets fixed automatically, as demonstrated in the video above. IMHO, it really does not look good, it is not normal and thus should get fixed.
Sometimes, just hovering it, moving the mouse pointer over it without even clicking it, triggers a good re-alignment !
I mean the filename gets aligned to the center of the thumbnail above, like it should always be.
Detail from video above, at 00:05
Technically, i guess it is the newly generated thumbnail that is not well aligned to the filename under it. Not vice-versa. When I look at the video frame-by-frame, somewhere around 00:04, I see this temporary clock icon, waiting for the thumbnail to be generated. Well, this temporary generic icon is well aligned with the filename under it. It is only this new thumbnail, displayed 1/4 second later, that is misaligned, while the filename did not move.
As said before, this problem only occurs with new files, and maybe only with large, landscape thumbnails.
Sorry - didn't appreciate the problem.
@Jeremy7701 I am trying to find the constant steps to reproduce...
Prerequisites:
Steps to reproduce:
NOTE: This bug only occurs with landscapes (wide) images, and only when the desktop never "saw" this image before. To be able to reproduce this issue with some image that you already tried before, you can close all the Nemo windows, clear the ~/.cache/thumbnails directories, and try again. Or just choose another landscape picture from anywhere else.
Can you reproduce this issue and confirm, please ?
I can reproduce it with a couple of the /usr/share/backgrounds/linuxmint-tricia
files
Moving it a short distance on the desktop doesn't fix it - but moving it sufficiently to 'snap' into a new position does so.
BTW This is on a standard HD 1920 x 1080, 24" screen - so nothing special. .

Same here.
OP updated to make it short, simple, and clear.
@icarter09 Can I get my "BUG REPRODUCED" label, please ?
I tested this many times and it is now confirmed by Jeremy7701 (https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo/issues/2727#issuecomment-976993955) and this dates from April 13...
Here i have selected all the pictures that are misaligned, just to show. This is the entire content from /usr/share/backgrounds/linuxmint-uma
Issue Desktop: Lots of landscape (wide) thumbnails are misaligned with their file name below. Most of them. See screenshot above.
Prerequisites:
Steps to reproduce:
/usr/share/backgrounds
and find some landscape pictures. (This is just an example of a landscape, or wide, images source. Any source will do, including your web browser.)Expected behaviour I would expect the thumbnail to be aligned-centre with the filename.
