Bug description

When copying files from a folder connected via fstab over the network from Netgear NAS via samba to Linux desktop or to NAS, Nemo file manager freezes (stop). Happens on three of my computers on the network.

Looks like same issue → linuxmint/cinnamon#8430

Steps to reproduce

Copy Folder in Nemo on SMB share.

Expected behavior

Folder will be copied.

I believe I'm also experiencing this behavior. Sometimes even right-clicking in a network mounted directory results in a hang, other times you can get party way thru a copy-paste and it hangs part way thru. I've observed this on SMB (LAN) and SFTP/SSH (over Internet) browsing folders in Nemo on Linux Mint 21.3.
