Issue

If there are multiple copies of files in the chosen folder (e.g. file.jpg, file.jpg.1, etc., for example this happens if the file is downloaded multiple times with wget), then selecting Sort by: dimensions results in these copies of the files being shown.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have multiple copies of a file (e.g. file.jpg, file.jpg.1, etc.) in a folder.

By default, extra copies are not shown.

  1. Go to the menu > Sort by > choose dimensions.

Multiple copies of the files will now be shown.

Expected behaviour

Multiple copies of files should not appear when changing the sort type.

Other information

Selecting other sort types doesn't cause this side effect, but the side effect remains if it has been already triggered by selecting Sort by: dimensions. It can be reset by selecting Sort by: date photo was taken.
