Pix:Catalogues sort order in browser #190

pix - 3.0.2 / mint- 21.2

Previous versions of pix [2.8.9] displayed catalogues in the folders view, sorted by the date in the catalogue file. This version [3.0.2] displays them alphabetically and I am yet to find a way of changing it back to how it was in the previous version.

My questions are: Is this a bug or is it a 'feature'? If a feature, Is there a way of changing the display order to the previous functionality? Examples below pix 2 8 9 Sort by Date pix 3 0 2 Sort Aplhanumeric

Not a bug. It's a new feature. Unfortunately, as of the version of 3.0.2., catalogues appear not to be able to sort nothing but alphabetically.

As for sorting files, you can use one of the keyboard shortcuts, to press S, to change sorting order of files on your browser.
