Flash of black screen between logging in and loading DE #95

 * slick-greeter version 1.1.4
 * Distribution - Manjaro 17.1.5 i3-gaps
 * Graphics hardware Intel HD Graphics 405 and Mesa driver used
 * 64 bit

Issue Despite having the same wallpaper for the greeter and in my DE when I log in there is a flash of black screen before returning to my wallpaper. This did not happen in lightdm-gtk-greeter, how could I fix it in slick-greeter?

Steps to reproduce Set both greeter and DM wallpaper the same. Log in.

Expected behaviour No flash of black and the wallpaper stays the same throughout the greeter to DM experience.

Other information

I have the same issue. Not entirely sure if it is a point to reinitialize to user-specific resolutions (even if they are the same as login screen) or what..

This is the commit that disabled the drawing of the background when starting sessions. The commit message explains why it was disabled.

Yeah, it's still happening. slick-greeter version: 1.3.2-1
