Backups not listed into the UI #271

Describe the bug The snapshots are not listed in the timeshift UI list, but does appear in the file manager using "Browse" button.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. I formatted my external HDD with ext4 encrypted, which means I have a Luks partition with an ext4 partition inside (see screenshot)
  2. I set the timeshift UI settings to backup to this partition, and to include /home and /root
  3. I create a backup, no message that the backup was successful, it that expected?
  4. I do not see the backup listed in the list of snapshots but I see it in the file manager when I use "Browse"
  5. I create a new backup, again no message at the end
  6. The space taken by both backups is 872G, around twice the used size of my disk 441G, which means no hardlinks were used to create this new backup (see screenshot)
  7. Still nothing listing in timeshift snapshots

Expected behavior An error message is displayed in case of error or the snapshots are listed into the UI

I have the same problem. Browse locates the snapshots but the GUI does not. Using timeshift from command line also fails to list snapshots.
