Friend please specify the browser you are using; for sake of helping I'll assume you are using firefox.
For firefox notifications you have to allow a website notification privileges, which means allowing a small instance of the site you run in your pc's background.
press alt, then go to edit>settings>privacy & security>permissions>notifications and allow said website to post notifications.
Hope this helps. I suspect what will happen is that you'll be able to receive notifications but upon clicking on them they will open on a browser window rather than a web-app, then someone with more know-how than me can help you then. Or perhaps this is enough. Keep us posted.
@MeatImp Thank You for Sharing, I also wanted the notification from the site. It will be better if we can make that notification to come from the Web App and be able to open through the Web App with some additional features. It will be great if the webapp window can have something that brave browser gives by default, as a menu to enable notification and other permissions as follows. Can we make a feature request for that.
When using a web app using webapp-manager, notifications are not showing. Tried webapp-manager using Linux Mint out of the box, same result.
Maybe I just missed something to config ?
