I've "fixed it" by pressing alt >edit>settings

Privacy & Security > notifications (click settings to the right) > block new requests asking for notifications

This should be mitigated at the application level and not require "Work Arounds."

Perhaps you are right. If you are willing to make a fix and fork this repository please notify me and I will help to the extent of my abilities.

I don't think my fix will be adequate for all profiles, suppressing a browser functionality by default seems a bit extreme; I believe it to be tied to the hiding of the navigation bar.

Maybe other repositories using firefox have found a fix to this problem.

(if this is a duplicate message is because my email client bugged out)

Actually would be great if someone fixed this because to share screen you need to say yes to notification which is impossible with that bug. (I want to use webapp for discord)

Having the same issue.

A key combination or burger menu tick to show/hide normal FF menu while the webapp is running would be great to solve different menu related issues (translation popup, ...)

What if I actually want to enable the permission being solicited? Like the Microphone in WhatsApp
