Dragging and dropping a file from Nemo into Xed usually opens that file inside Xed. There needs to be an option for inserting the file path instead of opening the file, since this might be the preference of some users.
The terminal also behaves this way.
It occured several times to me that I dragged a huge video file into XED and crashed it because it tried to load it.
