Bug description

Slow file: "BG3_Artbook_High_Res.pdf" (bought online) Size: 301,6MB Producer: Adobe PDF Library 17.0 Creator: Adobe InDesign 18.3 (Macintosh) Format: PDF-1.7 Number of pages: 97 Optimized: Yes Security: No Paper Size: 220 x 282 mm

Workaround: I can watch this file with Firefox 117.0, with normal speed (problem only with the Xreader?).

File doesn't always open (force quit). When it opens, it is very slow. It can take over a minute to change a page. It uses always only one cpu core (100%).

If I try to zoom, it is also very slow. After zoom is ready, it is fast to scroll.

Even closing the program is very slow and can end up to a "force quit -window".

I have tested this with two AMD computers which are both slow with this file (even 5700X with 32MB).

Steps to reproduce

Open "big HQ" file normally and try to use.

Expected behavior

File should always open, and be fast to use.
