Mint 21.2

Package version

3.8.2

Always

Bug description

If you open any ePub file, and then selected "Invert Colors"... the text doesn't go from black on white to white on black. It instead reformats the ePub removing any text alignment or similar positional alignment.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Load any ePub (will attach a sample) into XReader
  2. Select View >> Invert Colors

Expected behavior

Text and background swap colors (from black on white to white on black). Think reading in dark mode.

Additional information

Tested using a Google Doc turned into an ePub, as well as a DOCX turned into ePub using Jutoh. Latter is being attached -- the first chapter of my self-published book (Throng: Going Station to Station up on Amazon and other fine ePub vendors). Had to make sure it wasn't something with Google.
