I am using Linux Mint to capture screenshots but I frequently have to edit them before upload.
Though there is GIMP installed and I am quite well versed in it, but I feel this is a bit of an overkill to load in order to
crop/resize,
add some black or blurred boxes to obfuscate personal details and eventually
add some red/yellow round/square borders and
add some text (fineprint) to explain stuff or point to something.
So basically a simple Canvas we can paint on and overlay / merge with the picture when saving.
Please see the feature set of Greenshot for an idea of what would be good implementations (especially the obfuscate tool =^)
But as I do not like installing and configuring extra software which is not included with Linux Mint / its repository a built in / plugin for XViewer would be really great!
I would therefor like to ask for either a plugin or a fixed set of features built into XViewer to make this possible.
Hmm I know it may require you to rename it from XViewer to XEditor =^D
