[BUG] Not showing up in Spotify Connect anymore #78

Closed floodwayprintco closed 10 months ago

floodwayprintco commented 1 year ago

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current Behavior

My install is no longer showing up under Spotify Connect sources. I can still access it over the network. It looks like something has changed on Spotify perhaps, the Spotify Connect area of the interface looks different at least.

Is anyone else having the same issue? No changes to my password or anything.

Maybe it's time to upgrade to OwnTone?

Expected Behavior

No response

Steps To Reproduce

Open Spotify in the desktop app or browser and my Forked install no longer shows up.

Environment

A human has marked this issue as invalid, this likely happened because the issue template was not used in the creation of the issue.

Well, I filled out as much of the template as I could with the level of experience I have.

I think this is a legit issue with Spocon and librespot based on this other thread: https://github.com/spocon/spocon/issues/57

This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. This might be due to missing feedback from OP. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.

For anyone reading - yes it was an issue with the version of Spocon that comes with Owntone/forked-daapd. It's been resolved, just need to update.
