Instead of sunsetting this docker, please consider switching testing to this fork: https://github.com/paul-chambers/nzbget/tree/develop

nemchik commented 1 year ago

It's still a bit too early to consider a fork that has not been endorsed by the original developer to be a drop-in replacement or successor. A number of other forks exist as well https://github.com/nzbget/nzbget/network/members and many have also been abandoned.

I did not just pick any random nzbget fork. See this discussion about keeping nzbget alive. I totally agree that it is too early to switch the master branch of this docker, but for testing purposes it would be very useful to switch the testing branch to https://github.com/paul-chambers/nzbget/tree/develop

We are monitoring the fork for actual activity and some dedication, we cant just take his word. https://github.com/paul-chambers/nzbget/discussions/8, all that's done this far is merging the PRs
