Screen brightness within daydream #486

There should be a setting for changing screen brightness to minimum (or to a 
user adjusted level) when entering daydream mode. 
If Night Mode setting would do that, then consider this as a bug report, as it 
doesn't do anything, not even putting a dark overlay as the Clock daydream 
would do.

Night Mode doesn't seem to do anything on my GS4 running 4.3.  I expected it to 
do as the OP suggested here.  Also, it would be preferable if Night Mode would 
enable / disable itself based on the ambient light sensor.

I have the same concern, (Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.3). I found that 
ClockPlus incorporated a user configurable sliding scale for their app's 
brightness. Perhaps DashClock could integrate something similar?
