Dashclock doesn't update unless manually killed and restarted. (Displays old calendar events, doesn't show new emails)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Not sure

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: New emails, messages, today's calendar events
Instead: Calendar event from yesterday, no notice of my new email

What version of the product are you using?
Latest available as of Sept. 19 2013

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
Nexus 4, 4.3 

Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.
Yes, ParanoidAndroid and Nova launcher. Although the app worked fine with this 
ROM and launcher on 4.2.3.

Please provide any additional information below.

I want to report the same problem, but specifically mention that for me it's 
only on the homescreen widget that doesn't get updated regularly. I use the 
stock weather, stock calendar, and stock Wunderlist extensions. The update 
seems pretty random, perhaps once a day, once every couple of days, or never at 
all. The app is updated to the latest version. Same issue on my wife's Galaxy 
S4.

Stock everything
