i'll look into this when i get a chance. i think for now simple is good.
so after looking into this i'm not sure what you're wanting. obviously we won't just copy a wordpress theme, and realistically it'll be better to approach this by looking at the content we want to display. i do like the current setup where blog posts have links to the topics and are indexed with a larger format - especially since we don't have many posts atm.
so i guess i like the formatting it has now... are you asking about like visual appearance sort of styling? why not just use semantic-ui and throw in some regions and whatnot to add color? i dont care too much right now about how pretty it is, mostly that the information is clear and that it isn't so ugly as to turn people away from reading things.
yes, just visual appearance sort of styling.
it's hard for me to know how to style it without a reference in mind.
cool i'll pick something
if you want to go really simple: http://tomcreighton.com/2012/10/glider-theme/ but it seems like we want more info then text.
so i would like: edit: i actually really like this theme. so yeah. http://wordpress.org/themes/appliance i like this because it's still very simple, but the articles are evenly sized and you can see multiple at a time on the first page. it seems like the little article previews will have room for title plus 2/3 of these: picture, blurb, table of contents. go ahead and pick 2 as you see fit also it would be cool to have a little audio icon somewhere for the articles that have audio recordings
oh and i'm down with the categories business. that naturally separates standups from meetups.
plus it also allows for other categories - ie if i want to write a blog post about my progress just because.
start adding whatever metadata (categories / tags, hasRecording) you want to the articles you write. we can always use them later.
how do i do a list of values for the key? ie resources in :

yup, all good
are there any examples of blogs / sites that we like and want to emulate?
