Second that, think I tried the Launcbox version of this theme a while back and if I remember correctly that was 1080p? Anyway the best theme out there by far, keep up the excellent work.

If you check the dimensions of the images, you can see that they have 1280 x 720 and not 1920 x 1080.

Copy and paste form my update to the issue a couple above this one:

Wanted to add (and found this in the other comment), there's higher res (1080p) versions of the majority, but not all of these, from the Launchbox version of this same theme. You'll need to create an account to download: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/855-phills-doodles-retrorama/

I also partially upgraded the theme to 1080p. I took some of the most common (USA) 1080p images from the LaunchBox version of this same Retrorama theme, and replaced the 720p version RetroPie uses. Only had time to do it for the systems I use on my RP4: Arcade, Atari 2600, Lynx, Capcom, CPS 1 thru 3, Dahne, Dreamcast, Game Boy/Color/Advance, Genesis, MAME, Master System, N64, NeoGeo, NES, PC, Ports, RetroPie, Shmups, TG16, and I think that's it.

Some of them didn't have a 1080p version available so I upscaled those in Photoshop (which does a better job than the RP upscaling to 1080p). Rebuilt a couple missing ones too, replaced the woman on the Arcade one (RP versions is WAY better than LaunchBox one), edited the header on Capcom so it matches every other one (~10% squished but I didn't have native art to work from...), think I had to drop in MS-DOS logo on the PC Games List, forget what else (there's .txt notes in the folders I had to tweak).

To update your RetroPie setup simply drop in/replace the "retrorama" folder on the Raspberry pi in "/etc/emulationstation/themes". You will most likely have to edit the permissions of that folder to be able to change it.
