Higher resolution art available? #13

Just want to say, that as a fellow graphic designer for going on 20 years now (who does not have as excellent illustration skills as you whatsoever lol), that this is my favorite RetroPie theme by far, and I've spent dozens of hours trying different ones out. I use this one in mine and all my friends RP3/RP4 builds (since I'm in charge of making these for them as they aren't as technical as I am ;)

Just writing to see if you have 1080p artwork available? The included 720p (1280x720) images look pixelated on a modern 1080p TV (which tbh most people are switching over to even 4K TV's now...) and it takes away from the awesomeness that is this theme just a little bit. (a teeny, tiny small bit ;) If you're short on time as a lot of us are, and happen to have native collected/packaged art uploaded somewhere to share, I would be glad to resize every single one put them back in the same folders and zip up everything for you to update - just let me know if I can help in any way. I would not know how to update the theme for the larger size though - which I think might be needed (believe everything lines up with like X/Y grids which I haven't learned how to edit yet, and that would change with a larger size?).

Also wondering if you ever figured out your .SVG problem you posted about on the RetroPie forums a couple years ago? I'm sure you've seen but Adobe has added that functionality a LOT better now if your creative cloud is up to date. No issues with SVG's in my dealings with them lately.

Last, in the game list the very last line (if you have enough games that the list goes to the bottom and below/scrolls down) is cut off so you can't read it. Wasn't able to fix that on my own. Can take a screenshot it you would like. Thanks.

Wanted to add (and found this in the other comment), there's higher res (1080p) versions of the majority, but not all of these, from the Launchbox version of this same theme. You'll need to create an account to download: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/855-phills-doodles-retrorama/

I also partially upgraded the theme to 1080p. I took some of the most common (USA) 1080p images from the LaunchBox version of this same Retrorama theme, and replaced the 720p version RetroPie uses. Only had time to do it for the systems I use on my RP4: Arcade, Atari 2600, Lynx, Capcom, CPS 1 thru 3, Dahne, Dreamcast, Game Boy/Color/Advance, Genesis, MAME, Master System, N64, NeoGeo, NES, PC, Ports, RetroPie, Shmups, TG16, and I think that's it.

Some of them didn't have a 1080p version available so I upscaled those in Photoshop (which does a better job than the RP upscaling to 1080p). Rebuilt a couple missing ones too, replaced the woman on the Arcade one (RP versions is WAY better than LaunchBox one), edited the header on Capcom so it matches every other one (~10% squished but I didn't have native art to work from...), think I had to drop in MS-DOS logo on the PC Games List, forget what else (there's .txt notes in the folders I had to tweak).

To update your RetroPie setup simply drop in/replace the "retrorama" folder on the Raspberry pi in "/etc/emulationstation/themes". You will most likely have to edit the permissions of that folder to be able to change it.

Hey man, I'm wondering if you have performed anymore updates to this theme, you did some great work on it, it's sad to see that such a wonderful theme doesn't get the deserved attention!

Hope you're still around man!

Sorry @RichyMX I haven't updated this. You can see if the original developer ever updated the LaunchBox version - all the files are in there and to make it for the Raspberry Pi/RetroPie I literally was just replacing the smaller backgrounds with the higher resolution from the LaunchBox set to "update" it (not much to it).
