Hi there,
ubuntu-phone-as-seen-by-analytics

as you can see, when i go to my word press analytics plugin, my Liri browser on Ubuntu (mobile) is displaying as 'android' and 'chrome' - both of which could not be further from the truth.

I hope this post helps resolve it and thanks!

The Chrome icon isn't surprising, since we use QtWebEngine, which based on Chromium. However the Android one is, but it is an upstream issue.

it would be great to see both of those hideous icons not show up associated with me, ha. Thanks for your hard work, though. I really love the way this browser looks and feels. Oh, on another bug note... i juust remembered another. I'll post it separately.

Well, actually this is not an upstream issue. The problem refers to the Ubuntu mobile version where we are using the Oxide engine (which is Chromium-based as well). The identification as android device results from the user agent string we're using in order to get the mobile versions of the websites.
