gbm 2.1 reliably crashes R #20

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the attached script

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of fitting a model, the Rgui window suddenly closes without any error 
message.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
R 2.15.3 and R 3.0.0
GBM 2.1

Please provide any additional information below.
I think this has to do with CV and n.cores=1
