All tiles removed during freeze #191

I had a problem with my application, which caused a freeze, from which I never 
came back and had to reboot my phone (so this has nothing to do with osmdroid).
After reboot, all the tiles stored in the tiles forlders had been removed (the 
folders still existing though).
Is this a known issue? Or is this a feature? I am quite puzzled.

Any idea?
