Shutdown Issue, Corrupt File, Scandisk alert #343

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Shutdown Windows 7 x64

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Windows Close Peerblock without Error.

But Peerblock give an error that its (peerblock.exe) file is corrupted and i
should do an Scandisk. Reinstall does it fix it just for a litte time.

@ 2 Computer the same with compete new harddrives.

Windows does then always an scandisk but that doesnt fix it.

This error doesnt produced always.

What version of PeerBlock are you using? On what operating system? 32- or
64-bit?

Windows 7 x64 Peerblock r404

Please provide any additional information below. Make sure to attach
peerblock.log and/or any screenshots that would help explain your problem.

Voila, the log doesnt say always good bye at the end of peerblock ;-)
Next shutdown i try produce also a printscreen.

Hello folks,

im glad to here that im not the only one with that issue.

Im studying computer science and i hope we could find a temporary solution
together without downgrade peerblock.

No solution yet. The problem is still there. The developper has also not replay
yet.

So i dont think its a harddrive issue. The error starts at 1.0 RC 512 i believe.

So try to find a solution. I believe its cause a software block a shutdown.

I liste now a list of software witch may block peerblock at shutdown process.

Tell me if you have the same.

-Zonealarm(Pretty sure its always reason of blocking anything)
-Tuneup Utilities
-Logitech Drivers(not sure but has many services for lunch)
-Creative Drivers(Buggy like hell ever)
-UVNC Service(dont belive so)
