Menus not displaying in Ubuntu Natty #157

In Ubuntu Natty (11.04) classic desktop, menus are not showing.
This is with DamnVid 1.6

I'm guessing this has to do with Ubuntu's migration to python 2.7...
Attached is a slightly more verbose log (-vv), I fail to see anything obvius in 
it though...

No, I'm pretty sure it's that same bug between wxWidgets and GlobalMenu... See 
bug 87 :(
