13 years ago After investigation, it seems that support for NicoNico.com is hard to implement for several reasons:
- Though account on nicovideo.jp works on niconico.com and vice versa, the login systems of the two sites are separated, making it hard to fix the autologin feature.
- Unlike Taiwan/German/Spanish site, the "comment threads" (what Nico Nico Douga) on Niconico.com are separated from nicovideo.jp, adding the complexity to handle the comment downloads.
- Niconico.com allows videos from YouTube too, so there must be a YouTube video download module to fully support this site.
So I don't know whether it is a good idea to implement support for Niconico.com, which is relatively unpopular. Won't fix this issue in the near future.
Trying this with NicoNico.com but no downloads button appeared when viewing the videos.
