In Nigeria's Borno state, hundreds of people have died of cholera in the last few months.

CONGESTED

The disease has spread in camps for displaced people in Borno State.

Chima Onwe helps run a camp. He says the congested living space is a reason for the spread and that people have limited access to clean water and healthy conditions.

Congested describes something that is crowded or too full with things such as people or vehicles.

Humans and animals are congested when a part of the body is blocked with fluid. Now you know what congested means.
