LAV Splitter Choosing Lower quality audio stream #501

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Describe the issue you're having:
LAV Splitter is choosing the 1st audio stream instead of the highest quality.

How can the issue be reproduced? Sample File?
Yes, tried multiple files.

What version of the product are you using? In which Player?
0.63.0

Please provide any additional information below.
As you can see from 'lav splitter.png' LAV Splitter is selecting the 166 kb/s
aac stream instead of the higher 768 kb/s dts stream.
I have 'Prefer Audio Stream with the Highest Quality' selected, I also tried
deselecting it with no change. (lav splitter2.png).
Also, as you can see from 'lav splitter 3.png' the dts stream is flagged as the
default audio stream.

Do I have something setup wrong? My AVR can decode all formats.

Well, that's strange.

I didn't change anything. Came back to the computer an hour later started a
movie and it DID go to the DTS stream over the AC3 and AAC stream.

I'm not sure why it is working now and wasn't earlier.

LAVs stream selection logic is well tested and confirmed to be working. Some
players however like to override its choices, which it cannot really prevent.
