Crashes Minecraft on Linux #18

Hello, I have never used SalHack before, or even Forge; If I am getting anything wrong or have missed something, please tell me.

When I add SalHackSkid-1.1.4a_1.12.2-release.1.jar to ~/.minecraft/mods and launch Forge, the progress bars move a little, but at around half-way, they stop and Minecraft freezes for ~30 seconds: image

After that Minecraft closes with code 0: image

As you may have noticed in the first image -- I do not use Windows. I, in fact, use Manjaro 21.0.3 (more info in image below). I think this is likely to be the issue, which is a shame as I thought Windows and Linux were becoming more in-sync with each other, but whatever.

I don't know what else I should add, but I would appreciate at least a response, and with that, goodbye :)

Ok mate so what you gotto do is open minecraft launcher, then select the version. click edit now your here: image then what you gotta do is click more options, and click on java executable then browse now you see this: image click on the disk thing image go in lib/jvm/jre or whatever then on bin: image then select java : image click save then it launches

if that doesnt work ur installation is broken, reinstall java.
