MASSIVE rendering failure in XChat-WDK (possibly other applicatoins usin the same font/text engine)

1. Install and run XChat-WDK (Project: https://code.google.com/p/xchat-wdk/ DL: 
https://code.google.com/p/xchat-wdk/downloads/list) or Silverex' build of XChat 
(Available here: http://www.silverex.org/)
2. Font rendering should fail epically

XChat-WDK 1468-2 through 1469-3
Silverex' Build of XChat 2.8.6

A comparison with XChat for Windows Official (Available here: 
http://xchat.org/) has been included in the screenshot, showing the clear 
difference in rendering

Additional info: ezgdi r86-newer and r87 were used during testing of the issue 
on Windows 7 64Bit. XChat-WDK is 64Bit while XChat (Silverex and official) are 
32Bit.

Update: It also happens in some other apps that use the freetype font rendering 
library.
