StackOverflowError in RpcClient #17

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Call 
com.googlecode.protobuf.pro.duplex.RpcClient.getPipeline(RpcClient.java:447)
2. Watch the stack overflow due to infinite recursion.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
