Trouble Loading Files to a Conference

Some of the assistant instructors in my course, have encountered issues when 
hosting Big Blue Button Conferences through Canvas with their small groups of 
students (8 students, 1 instructor). They have been having trouble uploading 
PowerPoint slides. They are setting the Conferences up themselves, so I would 
think they would have all administrator privileges. They said sometimes the 
whole bar was missing at the bottom. Sometimes they could have everyone log out 
of that Conference and start a new one, and were able to load the file then. 
Any suggestions for what may be going on?

Hi There,

Best to contact Instructure support for this (they have very good support for 
their Canvas customers).

What's happening is that students may not know they need to click the icon to 
the left of their name in the Users list to make themselves presenter.  Only 
one person may be presenter at a time, and only the presenter can upload a 
slide.

When users login to BigBlueButton, the first moderator is made presenter, but 
thereafter any moderator can make themselves presenter (or anyone else) by 
clicking the icon to the left of their name in the Users list.

Hi,

Thank you for the tips.  I contacted Canvas first, but they said to contact
BBB, as this is hosted by you all.

It is not the students having issues, but the instructors.  If you cannot
help me with this, can you please point me in the right direction?
