fn key non-functional on HTC Evo #255

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Press function key
2. Press another key (say, t)
3. Non-fn keypress is sent instead of whaf is expected; for example, t is sent 
instead of 5 (what would be expected)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of android-vnc-viewer are you using?
0.5.0

Which VNC server/version are you using?  On which platform?
x11vnc on Linux.

What is the size of the desktop you are trying to access (i.e. 1024x768,
1920x1080...)?
1400x900

What device are you using?
HTC Evo 4G

Are you using a custom ROM?  If so, which?
