CGMiner #4

Would you consider adding cgminer to the live-miner images, and possible add an option in the live-miner.conf as to which miner is used?

If I were to add cgminer I'd just drop poclbm entirely. I don't have a strong opinion over which one is better. A few people have mailed me about cgminer so I'll investigate switching in the next release.

CGMINER can be compiled to allow for Scrypt (Litecoin) mining, where POCLBM does not have that ability.

I would most likely use the Live-Miner for Scrypt mining (on a few systems ...), if that were an option, as GPU mining is more suited to Scrypt mining nowadays. Most of the SHA256d (Bitcoin) mining has gone to ASIC's. But having CGMINER would allow Live-Miner to offer both options, as well as several GPU specific tweaks to improve mining efficiency.

How do I get started on CGminer I thought I could download it here but I don't even know where to download it from now
