Please make sure that 'Store Past Broadcasts' is enabled on your channel so that we can review examples of your coding stream. Also ensure that your vods are not sub only.

What is the URL for your Twitch channel? https://twitch.tv/cadillacjack1

Are you a Twitch affiliate or partner? (Your application will be automatically rejected if the answer is no) Yes!

What languages / frameworks / tools do you program in while streaming on Twitch? I mainly use Javascript, HTML & CSS for my languages/markdown languages and React for a front-end framework at the moment. I do have plans to learn Typescript and other Front-End frameworks such as Vue and Angular. I also use Visual Studio Code as my editor of choice.

Why do you write code on stream? My brain works in mysterious ways. When I start a project, I'm usually highly motivated to complete it. But a small break off the project can take away all that motivation and then I never finish the project. When I'm streaming, I find myself staying motivated every single time. I always want to add, improve, or finish a feature because I have people from complete beginners to professionals watching. They came for code, I have to give them code! The Science & Technology category on Twitch is honestly the most supportive and welcoming community I have ever come across on a platform.

What is your favorite moment from coding on stream? Share a clip if one is available I'm almost 5 hours in a stream, getting tired and I really wanted to get my code to work. I was building a Twitch bot that allows the chat to control my Philips Hue lights. The chat wanted to see the lights work and I delivered. I was very pleased to be able to complete the feature just short of the 5-hour mark. Needless to say, I ended the stream with a big smile on my face. Here is a clip from when the lights started working.

What do you want to accomplish with the Live Coders? I aim to be a better developer every day. Ever since finding other Live Coders, I'm always learning something new. I want to pay it forward and teach what I know to whoever may be watching. You never know if you have a complete beginner just starting out a particular language or even Software development in general. I want to contribute to their learning experience and help grow the Science & Technology category.

What do you want the Live Coders team to help you with? I do not have anything in mind at the moment, but I do want to become a better streamer. I welcome any and all feedback related to my streams and/or my coding pattern. I'm not a professional developer and I am almost a CS graduate. (I graduate end of 2020!).

Thank you!
