Apologies for the delay in reviewing... we would like to invite you to join the team! Look for an invite email from Twitch with a link to join the Live Coders. Once you have accepted the Team invite, I will send a whisper on Twitch with a link to join the team Discord.
Congratulations!
Please make sure that 'Store Past Broadcasts' is enabled on your channel so that we can review examples of your coding stream. Also ensure that your vods are not sub only.
What is the URL for your Twitch channel? https://twitch.tv/lizziepikachu
Are you a Twitch affiliate or partner? (Your application will be automatically rejected if the answer is no) Affiliate
What languages / frameworks / tools do you program in while streaming on Twitch? JavaScript, anything Twilio, Airtable, Google Cloud, TensorFlow...
Why do you write code on stream? To share what I'm building and learning! To get ideas! To improve! To help others!
What is your favorite moment from coding on stream? Share a clip if one is available I was live-coding with my teammate Craig Dennis and I told him to change a "const" to a "let" because I use "let" more now because I'd been burned too many times with variables I thought were "const" and then it turns out that returned an error and they became/should have been "let". He laughed at me and used "const", and then he got an error on the variable and changed it to "let" and conceded that that happens more than previously realized. From non-coding: interviewing Father of Python Guido van Rossum, iOS engineer and former Victoria's Secret model Lyndsey Scott, and VC Arlan Hamilton on stream (3 different times/separate streams)
What do you want to accomplish with the Live Coders? I want to build community, become a better streamer and live coder and coder in general, and help others do the same! I want to get more women involved on Twitch and help organize live coding events, facilitating some collaborations between underrepresented minorities and the Live Coders.
What do you want the Live Coders team to help you with? To help improve my streams in terms of content and quality!
