Finally, to complete the entire 1st version of the app, will work on Notifications. This will boost the engagement and bring more viewers and streamers on the platform. Notifications will be sent to followers of the streamer when the streamer goes live. Anyone can subscribe to any game title or category and will get notified someone streams for that game title or category.

A optional button in the Livestream Editor to mass dm their followers, when they go live. These will bring those new users who haven't heard about BloomersTV.

  • Notification functionality
  • Ability to Mass DMs to followers on going live

For first two weeks , the ability to stream is allowed to some beta testers. In this phase, my plan is to get much feedback as possible to improve streaming experience of the platform. Live chat is kind a plain right now for the MVP, it will have lots more functionality at the end of this milestone like, Chat moderations, persistent chat (or ability to see past messages for the current live session).

I will mostly be working alone, and will hire a intern if I need so, who would be working on (if hired) design & ui/ux improvements.

  • Improvement to overall product, with feedback from beta testers
  • Functionality to get Live Stream's live viewer count.
  • Live chat moderations & improvements

In this milestione there will be two main things will be worked upon. First, is to allow streamers to organize and broadcast their stream in the category they wish the stream belongs to, and also allow to select game titles for a game stream. Viewers can watch the streams, stream replays or clips for the particular category or game title.

Second, is the ability to allow streams to enable setting of allowing their viewers to clip the stream, which is directly posted as a Lens Video Post. This will boost the engagement as in to show who were live in that moment.

  • Ability to stream to a category and selecting the game title that will be streamed
  • Setting to allow viewers to clip the live stream, while streaming. And a separate clips section to watch all the stream clips.

Specify your team's long-term plans to maintain this software and upgrade it over time

Will be building a permissionless Video ad campaign creation tool, that can be integrated by any platform to generate revenue for themselves. And will be using this for our platform. While ads are one part of it, if the user donations and sponsors are regular enough in may cover the streaming costs and hosting costs.

Please describe (in words) your team's relevant experience, and why you think you are the right team to build this project. You can cite your team's prior experience in similar domains, doing similar dev work, individual team members' backgrounds, etc.

I have been building in Web3 social and specifically on Lens Protocol for over a year now. Previously built, DiverseHQ (Reddit-like community platform on Lens ) a web app and a mobile app. Before that, I had been building metaverse & Web3 marketplace experiences for a company called Integrality.

Who is your target user group? How do you plan on getting your users to use this?

For the first 6 months, the main target users will be all the Lens Protocol users. There is a first-mover advantage, as no one has made or as far as I know built a live-streaming platform on Lens. With the new Lens V2 upgrade, live streams can now be Lens Posts, so seeing streamers going live on BloomersTV will bring more users to it from other Lens Clients.

How did you learn about the Livepeer Grants Program?

Nader Dabit (developer relations at Lens) forwarded me the Form when we were discussing the project.

Was this project started at a hackathon or another web3 event? Which one?

No, this project is not started at a hackathon.

Please include any additional information that you think would be useful in helping us to evaluate your proposal.
