What is your project, and what problem does it solve?

I am building a Vs Code extension that will improve the development experience for Livepeer developers, this extension will come with an AI assistant and Livepeer GPT also will be available as a Discord bot. It is hard to develop on Livepeer for newcomers and every developer needs to index documentation so frequently until they are comfortable. This application will help to solve that.

Please describe in more detail why this proposal is valuable for the Livepeer ecosystem

By providing a dedicated VS Code extension with code snippets and Livepeer GPT, developers can easily access the tools and information they need, leading to more efficient and innovative development of applications on the Livepeer platform. The integration of Livepeer Studio CLI within VS Code further simplifies project management and deployment, encouraging more developers to build on Livepeer.

Please describe in details what your final deliverable for this project will be.

A VS Code extension with code snippets for Livepeer development (transcoding, webhooks, etc.), an AI assistant (Livepeer GPT) for queries and code refactoring, and Livepeer Studio CLI integration for easy project management.

Specify your team's long-term plans to maintain this software and upgrade it over time

I plan to maintain and upgrade the software over time by continuously updating the GPT knowledge base to enhance its intelligence and relevance. New examples and resources will be added periodically to reflect the latest developments in the Livepeer ecosystem. I will address bug reports from the community and any issues I find, committing to at least a year of maintenance without extra cost.

Please describe (in words) your team's relevant experience, and why you think you are the right team to build this project. You can cite your team's prior experience in similar domains, doing similar dev work, individual team members' backgrounds, etc.

Tolga Yaycı - Software Engineer

I completed my bachelor's degree in computer engineering. As a full-stack developer with 2 years of experience, I have refined my skills in software development, with a focus on dApp development in the past year. I have a deep interest in the Web3 space and have applied my skills by creating a number of relevant applications.

I have developed more than 10 projects for 7+ protocols including Arbitrum, Solana, Lens, Aave, Filecoin, Compound, W3F etc so that I have necessary technical skills to develop this kind of application. Also, I developed a similar VS Code extension for Arbitrum Stylus which you can see the link below.

Some of my projects that I lastly developed;

Who is your target user group? How do you plan on getting your users to use this?

I target every Livepeer developer from newcomers to experienced ones. I will reach out them via development communication channels.

How did you learn about the Livepeer Grants Program?

I built many applications for more than 10 protocols, while I searching I just discovered Livepeer Grants Program.

Was this project started at a hackathon or another web3 event? Which one?

No, this is a standalone project.

Please include any additional information that you think would be useful in helping us to evaluate your proposal.

If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer in a short meeting or you can reach me from any of contact methods.
