1 year ago Hi @dilbo139, thanks for putting this proposal together. This sounds like an interesting approach. We'd like to offer a grant for this for $10k in LPT cutting back the scope of some of the grant to help get this to an initial PoC. This would be split into 4 milestones.
- Complete the UI/UX designs for the platform ($2k in LPT)
- Complete video uploads and video-on-demand integration ($2k in LPT)
- Livepeer Livestreaming integration ($2k in LPT)
- Livepeer Token Gating integration and add a powered by Livepeer watermark to Dwitch videos ($2k in LPT)
- Success Metric Bonus - 20k video views on the platform ($2k in LPT)

Describe the solution you are proposing and how it will have a positive impact on the Livepeer developer ecosystem. We are building a decentralized live streaming and video content platform to bring back power back to creators and their community.
Dwitch empowers fans to get a closer connection to their favorite creators and provides creators with complete ownership of the communication channel to their most engaged community members. Dwitch can be thought of as a decentralized Twitch/Cameo where influencers, community leaders and creators can spin up a decentralized live stream and allow anyone to join in for a small fee. When watchers join, Dwitch automatically facilitates the stream of micro payments from the viewer to the creator in exchange for the ability to get access to the stream, and engage with the streamer by asking text questions.

Our overlapping skills complement each other which allows us to build things quickly and seamlessly.

We must complete existing functionality with full test coverage and production grade code quality.

Please estimate hours spent on project based on the above and how much funding you will need. We plan to spend a minimum of 70 hours/week on this project. We anticipate funding requirements of 50K USD.
