AURAH is a decentralized creators’ platform where they can monetize their content by gating it for their subscription NFT holders. Where they fully own their content in a permissionless way, encrypting their content and uploading it to decentralized protocols.

Describe the problem you are solving.

Creators rely on centralized platforms to be able to monetize their content and create relationships with their subscribers. But the problem is that these platforms are permissioned and tend to censor/ban the creators depending on their policies. Meaning that creators don’t have the freedom to freely upload their content, and risk their funds being withheld by the platform

Describe the solution you are proposing and how it will have a positive impact on the Livepeer developer ecosystem.

AURAH aims to solve this by providing a fully decentralized and permissionless platform. Where all their data and content are uploaded to decentralized protocols. Such as Ceramic, IPFS, Livepeer, etc.

As well as encrypting their content using Lit protocol, so only monthly subscribers (which are given an NFT to prove their subscription) can decrypt and view the content. This would mean that no one except the creators (wallet owners) would have control over the accounts and content. Preventing censorship and/or bans from the platform.

Another feature is that leveraging smart contract to track the NFTs (Unlock protocol), the creators get paid directly from their subscribers in stablecoins (USDC at the moment). Which would make it impossible for third-parties to withhold or control their funds in any way. The creators get paid instantly and have full control over their funds.

By using Livepeer to serve videos to users in a decentralized way, as adoption of the platform increases, so would the use of Livepeer network.

Describe why you are the right team with the capability to build this.
