Project status and volunteering to help #143

Hello rake-pipeline team,

I've been periodically coming back to this repo after discovering it a while back only to find it getting dustier and dustier. Under normal circumstances I would jump in and start working some issues but that doesn't seem like the right tactic here.

Is there anything I can do to help out? I know there are several other people that would help as well. Can we come up with a way to get some more contributors set up so the pipeline can move forward?

Thanks so much!

+1. I'm looking for a flexible alternative to assets pipeline and this gem seems very promising. But I'm a bit hesitant to use it, because I don't want to stuck with an obsolete gem.

Does anybody have any information about the status of this project?

I think it's fair to say that this project has been abandoned. I believe the devs who were originally involved in this project are now moving https://github.com/broccolijs/broccoli as their asset pipeline tool of choice.
