Huawei E3276S-150, router does not find it #1059

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try using Huawei E3276S-150
2. Connecting modem to USB, nothing happens.
3. Router does not find modem(?).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Mostly nothing happens. Once it worked for som reason, the router did find the
modem, but only once...

The settings for the modem should be fine, but the router does not find the
modem.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Asus RT-N65U + Huawei E3276S-150

I put the original FW back in the router, then Padavan.
Then the modem worked in Padavan again, but only for once.

As soon as the modem was removed and connected again, it does not be found...

Please help!

and hush...

Some Huawei modems not switched via usb_modeswitch from first tryes. While
usb_modeswitch not switched, modem visible as CD-ROM.

Use AT^SETPORT cmd for disable autostart CD-ROM.

You who got the knowledge in the opposite to me, do you know the AT command for
Huawei E3276-150, to disable CD-ROM autostart?

The info I can give you is:
-------------------------------------------
AT^SETPORT?

^SETPORT:A1,A2;12,16,A1,A2
-------------------------------------------
AT^SETPORT=?

^SETPORT:1: 3G MODEM
^SETPORT:2: 3G PCUI
^SETPORT:3: 3G DIAG
^SETPORT:5: 3G GPS
^SETPORT:A: BLUE TOOTH
^SETPORT:16: NCM
^SETPORT:A1: CDROM
^SETPORT:A2: SD
^SETPORT:10: 4G MODEM
^SETPORT:12: 4G PCUI
^SETPORT:13: 4G DIAG
^SETPORT:14: 4G GPS
-------------------------------------------

Thank you!

I seem to have the latter problem, e.g. modeswitchrule is working but still no
internet connection.
