pptp passthrough is not working #1067

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to firewall -> netfilter -> enable pptp-passthrough
2. try pptp connection from lan to some external pptp in internet
3. see lsmod|grep pptp

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The pptp connections do fail.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

rt56u with 3.4.3.7-072 custom fw.

Please describe the problem as detailed as it's possible.

Looking at the kernel modules over ssh to rt56u, I see the nf_conntrack_pptp
and one for gre won't get loaded as they should. Even modprobing the module
won't help. If I set the DMZ to the machine initiating the pptp, the
connections starts working. However this is not desired, since I might use
different devices to connect to outside VPN.

I also do have hw accel for NAT enabled, if that makes a difference.

This was a misunderstanding. There is an extra option needed to get passthrough
working. By clicking on the pptp alg found lower on the page, pptp starts
working. The options are a bit confusing, but the functionality works. Please
close the issue.
