What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Wait a few days / hours

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. A web interface that keeps the spinning wheel spinning forever when loading
http://my.router/Main_AdmStatus_Content.asp (or any other page, even the login
page) from the same LAN
2. No ping possible over OpenVPN connection
3. Unreliable internet connection (browsing, especially https hangs randomly
but frequent)
4. Sometimes the CPU graph does not output any information at all
5. Sometimes the status is like:
Load Avg: -- -- --
CPU Load: --
Memory Free: --- / ---
Uptime: ---
6. Log displays a red exclamation mark, but when opening, no data is visible in
the log output

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
RT-N56U_3.0.3.8-081_base.trx

Regression:
0. occurs on 2 devices after upgrading from 079 to 081
1. reboot, no improvement
2. power cycling, improves immediate (no idea for how long)

+1

Have been experiencing Samba server issues as well and hard drive performance
issues. Seems Samba permission are lost randomly after a few hours and HD
becomes slow or unresponsive after a while or heavy R/W. Tested on PC and works
great. Issue started since latest release. Power cycling solves issues but
that's annoying since device could stay on for weeks without any problems
before this release.

I'm sure its just a bad release and will be fixed in the next one :)

I'm having unreliable initial connection to internet too. I don't know how to
explain because it doesn't happen to all devices or software. On PC, everything
works fine. But on devices like XBox One, it is having a hard time connecting
to its services but once connected it works fine. Same goes with Facebook app
on Android devices. It is having a hard time downloading the images. All posts
are loaded very quickly but the images takes a long time, sometimes until time
out. The same goes to Google Play Store.

Anyway, previous version 080 has less issue but I can't seem to find the
download link for it anymore. I wanted to download the base version.

I'm also experiencing instability, especially with WiFi simply stopping to work
for a minute and then coming back online.
Would love to know where one can download previous versions...

Thanks.

I have also been experiencing random instability with Internet traffic. Occurs
both on WiFi and wired devices. Random web pages will take an extremely long
time to load, or load incompletely, or not load at all. Refreshing the page
several times will sometimes fix the issue. Other times rebooting the router is
necessary to fix the problem (temporarily).
There are not entries in the system log when this occurs. Problem is evident on
multiple computers connected to the router. When those same computer are
connected directly to the cable modem or upstream router, web pages load
quickly and as expected.
