This has been discussed before. As sources have not been modified, the only
option we've found for this to work is changing some variable in th source and
recompile. Look for "movistar" in "Open Issues" and you'll find it.
By the way, now I have Movistar TV working (with Movistar device) and I can
watch Movistar TV from any machine at home :) It's complicated, but with bird,
igmproxy and xupnp it can be done.

Thank you for your prompt replay, I have no idea to compile the file. Would you
share the file with the file changed please? Would be great if developers can
do this change for a new version. Thanks in advance.

I'll try to put it in some cloud service and post it here. Anyway it would be
much better if the developers changed this, I can't see any reason for this to
be implemented that way.

I don't know why but I've tried twice to put here the link to the uploaded
firmware and it gets deleted.
Are those links not allowed?

but not transmitted through lan or wifi. (i need the vlan 2 for internet
connection)

Dear aluisper,
First of all I want to say thanks a lot for your effort, I forgot to say that
my router is the n65u and I would like to apologize for your inconvenince. The
router that is not working with the original software in Spain is the n65un the
n56u works correctly with the original ASUS firmware. I don't know if you can
build a new FULL version for the n65u needed,it would help me and the whole
Spanish community with a Movistar ONT. Thanks in advance for your effort and
understanding.

Sorry, Josemrab, but I don't own a n65u, and I would be very scared of sending
a firmware I can't test. It's really easy building the firmware as stated in:
https: // code. google. com /p/rt-n56u/wiki/HowToMakeFirmware

Thank a lot anyway.

Josemrab, I'll try to help you from here, but I'm really busy now and my home
PC is waiting for a change (I hope it will be ready in a couple of weeks). But
following the instructions in the Wiki it's really easy to build the firmware,
just try.
Anyway, I don't know why this change is not deployed in the main sources. I
can't see any reason for this VLAN ID limitation anywhere, but it seems nobody
really reads this "Issues" section. No developer has answered here nor in the
other open issue about this same problem...

Dear aluisper, I agree with all you write, I cannot see any reason to limit the
value either. I hope the new version comes with this change, It will help all
the spanish users. I want to thank you again for your effort and I promess that
I will try to modify the full n65u firmware file... Anyway the full version
modified will be welcome to everyone. Thanks again!!

If anyone wants to try, I'm quite sure that this is only a limitation of the
GUI interface. I mean that if you wan to try using the command line (with
telnet or ssh) this would work with the standard firmware you can find in this
Web.
You need some linux expertise, but it's all about "ifconfig" and using scripts
(in "customization" section). I'm doing it with my firmware because I wanted to
watch Imagenio anywhere at home without the decoder, and I think it should work
without modifying source.
And if you want me to tell you how to do this, I'm afraid it's difficult to
tell :). I'm using igmpproxy, xupnp and perhaps somehting more. If I had to do
it again I think it would take me many hours...
But just adding another VLAN is quite easy. When I'm home I could write the
commands if you want.

Sorry, I thougth the configuration was similar for only the Imagenio device and
the one I have, but it is not.
My config is working so that every machine in the network can watch Imagenio
with a UPNP client (like VLC in Windows), but it's not easy to explain. I'm
going to try to write a document with everything and put it somewhere.
For me it's much more interesting, because with a Smart TV or any device you
can wtch any channel anywhere. I can be watching a Movistar channel on my iPad,
another one in the kitchen TV and a third in Imagenio device.
Just give me some time and I'll be back...

Spanish :)). Please report any problem there.

VLAN ID #3 is reserved for iNIC_mii guest AP on RT-N65U and cannot be used for
handle tagged WAN traffic.
VLAN ID #2 support for tagged WAN traffic already added in last commits.

Latest source works fine for me without any change. It works even with the
configuration to watch Movistar TV on any device, but the interface must be
defined through the GUI.
Thanks Andy for the change

Dear Andy,
As a Project member I would like you please to tell us if it's possible to let
the Channel 3 and 2 with any trouble. Here in Spain is impossible to connect
our ONT's without those channels. Thanks in advance.

VLAN ID #3 is reserved only on RT-N65U device. Any other devices can usage VLAN
ID #2..4094 for tagged WAN traffic.

Muchas gracias! Entiendo que igual no nos vale.... He intentado seguir la

https:// www.dropbox.com /s /qmhelyfra9re7ph /RT-N65U_3.0.3.9-094.trx?dl=0
Suerte!!! Y cuenta lo que sea.
