What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. try to add rule like this: ebtables -I FORWARD -i tap0 -p IPv4 --ip-protocol 
udp --ip-destination-port 67:68 -j DROP
2. get an error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Problem with the specified Ethernet protocol 'IPv4', perhaps /etc/ethertypes is 
missing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.4.3.9-095
