I actually just noticed an issue around this. My altbots don't seem to be aggressive towards flagged enemies on a pvp server. Additionally, on an intermittent basis they don't seem to defend themselves when attacked.
easy fix use a macro where you tell the bots to be flagged for pvp with /p nc +pvp or if you want to revoke their ability to do pvp use nc -pvp and they won't fight back recommend turning off pvp when entering neutral zones like gadgetzan, booty bay, or cenarion expedition in Zangarmarsh there are other places too so don't forget to turn it off when entering or town guards will tear you a new one ;)
I used GameType = 1 in worldserver.conf. When approaching a Bot with PvP disabled, you automatically receive attacks.
So just to clarify, @christan-duplicate, on your PVE server you still have rndbots attacking you where you obviously can't attack back? That is definitely an issue. I always play on PVP so I haven't encountered that before

The robot must hit me first before I can counterattack
If the bot doesn't have PvP toggled on, you can't attack it. That's how PvE works.

This is an issue that has been brought up in the Discord. Non-flagged randombots do occasionally attack non-flagged players on non PvP realms.
My way around this was to flag for PvP, so that combat flags the aggressor bot as well. I have since simply changed my realms to PvP realms - and then was unaware of the command needed to enable bot aggression to other flagged players.
How can players be configured to attack robots proactively in wilderness areas?
